Monthly Community Update for STOURBRIDGE.

Hello People of Stourbridge

We have had another busy month in relation to Police action, officers have been engaged with other agencies and completed a Fatal 4 driving operation which has lead to over 50 persons reported or notified of driving offences.

Drone officers have assisted the team in relation to ASB issues regarding ebike and scooters.

Officers have made a number of arrests in relation to various offences which range from shop theft, breach of EMS tag, recall to prison and violent offences, some of these offenders are now behind bars completing sentences or awaiting court dates.

All alongside supporting officers from response and CID with a on-going events and investigations.

There has been a large number of positive identification of offenders who will soon be arrested or postal charged to appear before courts in the coming weeks.

Officers have increased high Vis foot patrols in the town as the nights are getting darker and due to the increase in persons because of the half term

We will continue to place our engagements on WMP NOW and look forward to seeing both new and old faces to discuss and address as many issues as we can.

Please feel free to approach any of us in the town to report any offences, ask any advice or for a general chat.

Please be aware of the darker nights and colder mornings in the coming weeks.

Remember do not leave engine running on cars to defrost them as if they are stolen you are not insured.

Many thanks
